In plain English

A friendly summary to help you get oriented. This does not replace the full statement below.

This statement describes our genuine, ongoing effort — it is not a certification of full compliance. No website can honestly claim to be 100% accessible to every person and situation. If something doesn't work for you, please tell us; that report is how the site actually improves.

Our Commitment

What we're working toward

MAVTG aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA — the widely recognized standard for making web content usable by people with a broad range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive differences. This is an active, ongoing effort across a large and growing site, not a one-time project we consider finished.

What's Implemented

Real, verified fixes — not just aspirations

As of this statement, the following has been directly tested and corrected (not just assumed) across our core pages, including the homepage, the Kidney Navigator app, the services, foundation, travel, and academy pages, and our legal pages:

Known Limitations

What we haven't finished yet

In the interest of honesty over polish: this site is large, and not every page has been through a full accessibility pass yet. Older or less-trafficked pages may not yet meet the same standard as the core pages listed above. We have not yet completed a live screen-reader (VoiceOver/NVDA) walkthrough of every page, and 200% browser-zoom behavior has been spot-checked rather than exhaustively verified everywhere. We're continuing this work, not treating it as done.

Get In Touch

Tell us about a barrier

If you use assistive technology and encounter something on this site that doesn't work the way it should, we want to know — specifically. A concrete report (what page, what you were trying to do, what happened instead) is far more useful to us than a general complaint, and helps us actually fix the right thing.

Email michael@mavtg.com — every message is read personally, and we'll follow up directly.

This statement reflects real, verified work as of the date above. It will be updated as the site's accessibility coverage grows.
