The Curriculum

Eight weeks to think, build, and get ahead of life.

Week 1 is free β€” take it now. The rest unlocks when you join a cohort. Every week ends with a quick 3-question check, and the Teacher's Aid is here whenever you get stuck.

Before you use a tool β€” a phone, an AI, your own mouth β€” you get one move that changes everything: you pause and think first. That pause is the whole Academy in one habit. Master it in week one and every other week gets easier.

1. Why the pause matters

Most mistakes aren't dumb β€” they're fast. You react before you think. Someone dares you, a notification pulls you, an AI hands you an answer, and you move before you ask, "wait β€” is this actually true, and is it actually me?" The people you admire aren't smarter than you. They just built a half-second of space between the thing that happens and the thing they do about it. That space is where you live your real life.

🍎 Teacher asksThink of one time this week you reacted fast and wished you'd waited. What would a 3-second pause have changed?

2. The six questions

Before any big decision β€” or before you open an AI and start typing β€” run these:

  • What am I actually being asked to do? Not what it sounds like. What it IS.
  • What do I want? Name the real goal, not the reaction.
  • Who benefits if I say yes? If the answer is "mostly them," slow down.
  • What's the real cost β€” money, time, trust, reputation? Price it before you pay it.
  • What do I think? Your take matters β€” form it before you borrow one.
  • Who else can I ask? If you don't know β€” always ask an adult you trust.

That last one isn't weakness. The strongest people you know all have people they ask.

🍎 Teacher asksPick a real decision you're facing. Which of the six questions is the one you keep skipping?

3. Thinking with AI (not letting it think for you)

AI will hand you an answer in one second. That's exactly the danger β€” it's so fast you skip the pause. So flip it. After you've done your own thinking, open the AI and type: "Before answering, ask me the questions you need to give me the best answer." Now it's helping you think instead of thinking for you. And never trust one answer β€” that's the Second Opinion Rule: ask 2–3 different AIs or check a real source, just like you'd ask 2–3 people.

🍎 Teacher asksWhat's one thing you'd never take an AI's word for without checking it twice β€” and why?
🍎 Ask the Teacher's Aid stuck? talk it through β†’
Hey β€” I'm your Teacher's Aid for this lesson. Ask me anything about the Thinking Moment, or tell me a decision you're chewing on and we'll run it through the six questions together.

The Teacher's Aid is a study helper, not a real teacher or doctor. For anything about health, money, or safety, it'll tell you to talk to an adult you trust. In a crisis, call or text 988.
